We just wrapped up a series about stress and the immune system and how best to manage the stress response.
Adaptogenic herbs have been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese Traditional Medicine and are wonderful for helping your body to cope when stress is getting the better of you.
Different adaptogens have different effects on the body, and while they’re not a quick-fix/cure-all type remedy, with regular use over time, these herbal allies will support the body’s ability to adapt to mental and physical stressors.
Truffles are one of the easiest (and tastiest!) ways to incorporate adaptogens into your daily routine. Keep reading for a basic truffle recipes and refer to my previous post about adaptogens’ role in immunity for a list of primary and secondary adaptogens to consider ??
