Who doesn’t love a warm bath?? ???
I want to share one recipe that is guaranteed to ease your nerves and ensure a good night’s sleep.
You’re going to want to add about 2 pounds of bath salt to your bath. The water shouldn’t be too hot, but warm – around 100 degrees is about right. Sitting in the bath for at least 30 minutes will allow for full absorption of the herbs. Remember that inhaling the aroma is apart of the experience as well, so make sure to take deep breaths and enjoy yourself. 🙂
Here’s our recipe for a lavender bath:
Ingredients
- 1 c salt
- 2 T lavender flowers
- 1/2 T carrier oil
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions
- Combine carrier oil and lavender EO
- Grind lavender flowers
- Combine all ingredients together well
- Spread evenly on a baking sheet and dry in a 175F oven or use your dehydrator; leave until thoroughly dry (approximately 15-20 minutes)
- Seal in an air-tight container; label
Notes
You can multiply the recipe as needed. Let us know if you try this and have fun!
